I have only seen two porcupines while hiking in the mountains - a baby just off the trail in the foliage and a full grown one up in a tree. For me, porcupines are fascinating and I hope I see more while out in the mountains.
I remember back in my university years when I worked at the Chateau in Lake Louise during the summer walking to work early one morning with a porcupine. It was a surreal experience.
